Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team on commercial construction and maintenance projects in the Jacksonville area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial electrical systems and the ability to work safely and efficiently on job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Run conduit, pull wire, and install panels, breakers, and fixtures
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades on job sites
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- 2+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
- Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights when required
- Reliable transportation to job sites
Preferred:
- State or local journeyman/master electrician license
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
